The Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP) partnered with Tampere University to bring you a stimulating 2-day seminar in Tampere, Finland.
The seminar brought together insights on Health in All Policies (HiAP) and on the social and commercial determinants affecting health and equity. It addressed questions on how to enable HiAP approaches to advocate for equity and social policies to ensure sustainability and broader uptake of HiAP to address the social determinants of health.
The event celebrated the launch of the Tampere University WHO Collaborating Centre on Health in All Policies and the Social Determinants of Health, and included a dedicated time for planning the next 2–3-year work program for the GNHiAP.
In addition, the WHO publication titled “Working Together for Equity and Healthier Populations: Sustainable Multisectoral Collaboration Based on Health in All Policies Approaches,” which was officially launched on the second day of the Seminar, on September 6th.
