In 2019, a secretariat for the Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP) was established to support the work of the Executive Committed and the duties of the 2020-2023 Chairperson for the Network, Dr. Horacio Arruda, National Director of Public Health and Assistant Deputy Minister for the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services.

This secretariat was established at the National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) for two years. The NCCHPP is one of six National Collaborating Centres (NCCs) for Public Health created in 2005 and financed by the Public Health Agency of Canada to support knowledge translation in public health. The NCCHPP’s mandate is to support public health actors across Canada in their efforts to develop and promote healthy public policies by developing, synthesizing and sharing knowledge, by targeting research gaps and by fostering the development of networks connecting public health professionals, researchers and policy makers across Canada. The NCCHPP is hosted by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ).
